Michelle knew early on that Design would be her chosen profession, as it has always been her passion. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and Space Planning (Top Honors) and a minor in Art from the School of Architecture from the University of Idaho. In addition, Michelle has an Associates Degree in Fashion from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City (Honors). Her forte is working and improving room layout and configuration and adding interior architectural elements to ensure that every inch is used in a creative and efficient manner. Incorporating her training in Home Harmonizing, this creates a home that runs more efficiently while enhancing the well being of the occupants, making it not only beautiful but also practical.
Michelle began her career in Los Angeles, working on projects for the Hollywood A-list Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman before moving to New York. There she worked for high-profile interior design firms MAC II and Julie Bauer. In 1993, Michelle moved to London and continued to attract an influential clientele to her private design practice. She designed and completed private projects throughout London and the UK: Mayfair, Belgravia, Chelsea, Holland Park, St Johns Wood and Devon. Internationally she has designed projects in Italy, Romania, Sweden and the U.S.A.

Michelle is a member of The Society of British Interior Design. She has been recognized for her outstanding bathroom designs and has won the KBB review award for "Bathroom Design over £15,000" for two consecutive years. Her own home was recently selected to appear on HGTV's new international show. Michelle was selected for The Andrew Martin Vol. 15 Design Review Book as a World Leading Designer.

Michelle is an American and grew up skiing and riding horses in the majestic mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho. The magic of nature has always been an inspiration. She respects nature, keeping sustainable products in mind and sources environmental renewable resources whenever possible. Michelle loves natural finishes, organic materials, and aged patinas with varying textures and finishes. Given her experience in fashion design, Michelle also incorporates fabric using innovative techniques throughout the interiors she creates.

Michelle travels widely gathering ideas for her creative work and incorporates global aesthetics into her interiors. She draws upon a rich palate of styles, elements, and cultural influences. She lives in London with her husband, two sons and the family's Lurcher. She is personally knowledgeable about the demands of designing for a family home as well as workspaces. Michelle has designed interiors across a full spectrum of styles from contemporary to traditional, classic to spiritual. She has designed a rustic mountain store in the wilderness of Idaho as well as elegant homes in cosmopolitan London. She has worked on projects which have very limited budgets to virtually unlimited. She has an exquisite eye for detail. Most importantly, her designs are not restricted to a specific design style but reflect the client’s personality and needs.
